flexfax: Sendfax does not work anymore

I don't like to ask this kind of question but I don't have a clue why it
happens :

Is there a way to determine for which reason sendfax doesn't work anymore

haven't changed anything into my configuration, it just hangs before even
I get a reply from hylafax  on process nr etc ..., also no error message
...

This box has an uptime of 62 days and hylafax never failed on me ...
