This only happens when sending faxes, receiving happens normally. All sessions end like this: Oct 18 16:23:04.34: [11279]: SENT 41354 bytes of data Oct 18 16:23:04.34: [11279]: <-- data [2] Oct 18 16:23:04.34: [11279]: SEND end page Oct 18 16:23:07.17: [11279]: --> [2:OK] Oct 18 16:23:07.17: [11279]: SEND send EOP (no more pages or documents) Oct 18 16:23:07.17: [11279]: <-- [9:AT+FET=2\r] Oct 18 16:23:10.58: [11279]: --> [7:+FPTS:1] Oct 18 16:23:10.58: [11279]: SEND recv MCF (message confirmation) Oct 18 16:23:10.58: [11279]: SEND FAX (00000910): FROM roadmr@utopia.entropia.com.mx TO 14 (page 2 of 2 sent in 0:26) Oct 18 16:23:10.58: [11279]: SEND FAX (00000910): FROM roadmr@utopia.entropia.com.mx TO 14 (docq/doc216.ps;01 sent in 0:26) Oct 18 16:23:10.59: [11279]: <-- [4:ATH\r] Oct 18 16:23:10.70: [11279]: --> [7:+FHNG:2] Oct 18 16:23:10.70: [11279]: REMOTE HANGUP: Call aborted, from +FK or <CAN> (code 2) Oct 18 16:23:10.70: [11279]: --> [2:OK] Oct 18 16:23:10.70: [11279]: SESSION END Oddly this happens after Hylafax sends the ATH command to the modem; so in theory everything has already been closed up properly. However the modem says "FHNG:2", and so Hylafax doesn't think the session ended properly. The server runs Red Hat Linux 5.1, and HylaFax 4.0pl1 (will upgrading to pl2 help?). The modem, as I said, is a Hayes Accura 336/56K external. I even tried applying the v.90 upgrade to see if it helped, but it didn't. I'm using the "rc288dpi" modem config file, except for the <19200><xon> answer begin command (not needed by this modem). Does anyone know of a solution or workaround for this problem? - Roadmaster ---------------- * Save a tree- use E-Mail! roadmr@entropia.com.mx *
