This isn't totally a HylaFax problem, but hopefully someone can help! I need a fixed width font to allow Ghostscript to format an email in such a way that it still looks like the original form that's being emailed for faxing. The form is essentially an ascii form, but as soon as it's converted to Postscript by GS with a proportional font the formatting is ruined. Under windows, using Courier-New it keeps the formatting and looks good. With Courier-Bold and GS it looks like s**t! Additionally, when the email is send to the faxing system, using the mailfax script supplied, I can alter the font and pitch size by altering the script, but is it possible to use a rule from within typerules to control these settings? This would seem to be a much better solution to me but I can't see straight away if it would be possible. Thanks for any and all help. david reid abb37@dial.pipex.com
