It's part of ghostscript and is documented in:


/usr/lib/ghostscript/5.10/doc/NEWS
/usr/lib/ghostscript/5.10/doc/devices.txt
/usr/lib/ghostscript/5.10/doc/history2.txt
/usr/lib/ghostscript/5.10/doc/history3.txt
/usr/lib/ghostscript/5.10/doc/psfiles.txt
/usr/lib/ghostscript/5.10/doc/use.txt

or the equivalents on your system.

The real problem is probably that ghostscript is incompletely installed,
or installed in the wrong directories.
