Have you read the archives and the USR bugs web page?   This is unlikely to
be your problem here, but you are likely to have problems later.

I am not aware of any kernel version related problems.  There are many
distribution type and version problems.  So what version of what distribution
are you using and do you have any upgraded run time libraries?

Can we assume that you built from source?  Otherwise which version of which
package did you use?

It was probably not a good idea to prune the logs, and I think that you
may not have an adequate logging level enabled.
