Hi, I have a problem sending postrcript files generated by windows 95. I have installed the Adobe PS drivers for the Apple laserwriter 16/600 PS fax as suggested, with the 'maximum portability' option. This way, almost everything goes right... I've sent web pages, simple word documents... BUT when I try to send word97 documents that contain bitmaps, or slides powerpoint, I get this error: -----Begin error report Your facsimile job to +39113168670 was not sent because conversion of PostScript to facsimile failed. The output from "bin/ps2fax" was: %%[ ProductName: Aladdin Ghostscript ]%%\%%[ Page: 1 ]%%%%[ Page: 2 ]%%%%[ Page: 3 ]%%%%[ Page: 4 ]%%%%[ Page: 5 ]%%%%[ Page: 6 ]%%Error: /syntaxerror in -file-Operand stack: 1 15754 67Executio --nostringval-- --nostringval-- 2 %stopped_push --nostringval-- --nostringval-- --nostringval-- false 1 %stopped_push 1 3 %oparray_pop .runexec2 --nostringval-- --nostrri Check your job for non-standard fonts and invalid PostScript constructs. ---- Unsent job status ---- Destination: +39113168670 Sender: bob Mailaddr: bob@ALP.net Submitted From: localhost Page Width: 215 (mm) Page Length: 279 (mm) Resolution: 98 (lpi) Status: %%[ ProductName: Aladdin Ghostscript ]%%\%%[ Page: 1 ]%%%%[ Page: 2 ]%%%%[ Page: 3 ]%%%%[ Page: 4 ]%%%%[ Page: 5 ]%%%%[ Page: 6 ]%%Error: /syntaxerror in -file-Operand stack: 1 15-nostringval-- --nostringval-- --nostringval-- 2 %stopped_push --nostringval-- --nostringval-- --nostringval-- false 1 %stopped_push 1 3 %oparray_pop .runexec2 --nostrined Dialogs: 0 (exchanges with remote device) Dials: 0 (consecutive failed calls to destination) Calls: 0 (total phone calls placed) Attempts: 0 (attempts to send current page) Dirnum: 0 (directory of next page to send) ---- Unsent files submitted for transmission ---- This archive was created with tar, compress, and uuencode.
