flexfax: Problem with binary on Linux 2.0.30

Hi to all.

SCENARIO
========

Linux box 2.0.30
Modem Fax USR Sportster 14400
Binary of hylaFax
Client for Win95 WHFC ( 0.3)

PROBLEMS
========

1) When sendfax I get : /usr/local/sbin/textfmt .... blaah blaah ...
   ( FAQ number 44 )
   
   I have get tiff_3.4 and installed it but nothing.
   Why ?
   I don't have the file Courie-Bold. Where is it ?
   
2) When I used client WHFC I obtained alway : Login failure , but on the
   server (in my account ) with faxstat -v :
   Trying localhost at port 4559 ...
   Connect to localhost
   -> USER <my_account>
   230 User <my_account> logged in
   ecc. ecc. ecc.
   
   My etc/host is :
   
   127.0.0.1
   localhost
   ^my_account@on_server$
