faxtool 1.3 and HylaFAX 4.0pl1

Hello.

Is there anybody using faxtool? The last version no longer show the
status of HylaFAX 4.0pl1. In fact, the sent command (faxstat...) is
right but faxstat does not return the status of the pending faxes.
verbose and debug options confirm this behaviour.

Could it be any trouble with a file descriptor being closed too quickly
ot faxstat being called  from a non-interactive shell (execvp under
Unix)?

>From an interactive shell, all is fine.

OS: SPARC Solaris 2.5
