Strong words...

(...do not worry too much about credible/shame/embarrassment/and generally
what other people think of you, things work much better if you rely on
internal measures for whether what you are doing is right or wrong...you
will live to be much older ;-).

The current CVS is pretty much ok for a beta release - it should work on
most platforms.

Just apply the rest of Dmitry's patches and release - i can do this to CVS
but i don't have time to test them beyond compiling, meaning possibly the
CVS code could be broken.

Attracting developers is hard especially to mature software(ie ugly
software that somehow implements most of the functionality ;-). As a
personal thing i think hylafax could be made easier to use, much easier to
use - that hopefully would increase the number of people who can run the
software which in turn attracts developers.

Could if i had the time....i can add Dmitrys patches to the cvs if someone
else is willing to test them....then package up the result as beta3.

Again as a personal thing i would like if you would rearrange the ftpsite -
i prefer if the 4.1 versions are the same directory as the 4.0 counterparts
ie 4.1beta2 source is in the same directory as 4.0pl2 source, 4.1beta2
rpm's in the same directory as 4.0pl2 rpms.
