This makes the second explicit ATZ redundant then.
I guess this also has more chance of resetting a wedged modem than sending
an explicit 'atz' as well.
So if the above holds for all modems(3com doesn't have &D3, requires
setting of a flag in the S15 register and use of &D2 instead) then perhaps
a better proposal would be to remove completely the 'ModemSoftResetCmd'
parameter as it is not used at all, otherwise leaving the modem
initialization as it is.
