Well, looks like it's working fine!
Had some problems at first so I did a reinstall of RedHat,
now my client works similar as it did with hylafax-i386-linux-v4.0pl2-1.
tar.gz. That is ok. I do get empty line from the "STATE" command
when fax finishes, but no disconnection and the only difference now
is that I get logging in messages that tells me
Mar 17 16:47:40 localhost HylaFAX[6937]: Filesystem has SysV-style file
creation
semantics.
Mar 17 16:47:43 localhost FaxQueuer[1417]: SUBMIT JOB 1
Mar 17 16:47:53 localhost FaxSend[6944]: MODEM AT&T HSM288xCF/CL2 V4.00
Mar 17 16:47:54 localhost FaxSend[6944]: SEND FAX: JOB 1 DEST 5517653 COMMID
000
00002
Mar 17 16:48:38 localhost HylaFAX[6938]: CAUGHT SIGNAL 11
(souldn't localhost be my host name?)
here is the output of my logging from my windows client, from there you
can see all commands I'm sending to HylaFAX, except for the NOOP
I'm sending before to keep from timing out! Do you see anything wrong with
this?
