I would now like to remove the files associate with hylafax and don't want to break anything else in the process - I have looked on the web site and read the FAQ, but it does not list what files are installed where or what changes are made to what system files.
There is no existing support to remove the software on non-IRIX systems.
I've suggested that someone might want to make some enhancements to the
install script to create a history file of installed files (and their
checksums) so that deinstallation could be automated; but noone has done
anything. A common technique that people use to simplify removal is to
install everything under a single root directory; this is simple when
working from the source distribution.
