If you, or anyone else, wants something added to configure then you need
to send me a patch.  I don't use AIX, Solaris, SunOS, HPUX, Linux, NetBSD,
FreeBSD, etc. so if I don't receive a patch to fix problems w/ these or
other systems then nothing happens.

Beware however that if you send me a patch to configure then be sure it 
is either tied to the exact OS release or you are sure that it works for
all releases.  Sometimes the best thing to do is just document the change;
in which case a patch to the HTML documentation might be the right way to
go.

When sending patches I appreciate it if they are done against the latest
distribution.
