It would have taken me a long time to think about the fact that the linux authentication itself might work with LDAP. This is a great lead. My problem is that I'm using Elastix as the base operating system which hylafax/avantfax sit on top of. I have to create accounts in Elastix in order to them create them into avantfax. I've been trying to find a good document which clearly shows how I might be able to build a stand alone hylafax/avantfax server and then I believe what you've suggested would work. It's a great lead, you've given me hope when I was losing it hehe :). ____________________ HylaFAX(tm) Users Mailing List _______________________ To subscribe/unsubscribe, click http://lists.hylafax.org/cgi-bin/lsg2.cgi On UNIX: mail -s unsubscribe hylafax-users-request@xxxxxxxxxxx < /dev/null *To learn about commercial HylaFAX(tm) support, mail sales@xxxxxxxxx*
