What causes this? How do I fix it?
Set ServerTracing in /var/spool/hylafax/etc/config.ttyACM0 to 0xFFF and
then restart faxgetty. Then review the syslog again and see where it's
failing.
Thanks. That gave the info I needed to get <faxgetty> to be happy with
the modem. The flow control commands used &Ix and &Rx, neither of which
are supported by the modem (USR 5637 USB modem).
It's probably using a different chipset than expected (i.e. it's
possibly a Conexant chipset instead of the TI derivative).
If you could run 'probemodem' against the modem and send me the output I
would appreciate it.
Thanks,
Lee.
