No, but that should be easy with the parseQfile function found in
common-functions. See an example...

I must be an idiot - while I do see the example, I don't see how to use
it to obtain the file information I need. I call parseQfile after
setting QFILE to a value (for this test, "q52" which is a valid doneq
filename. I'm not seeing any new variables created by executing, "echo
`set`" after the parseQfile call.
For this particular doneq file, I need the values for the coverpage and
the attachment pages (cover52.cover and doc74.pdf, respectively).
What am I doing wrong?
