So far so good. The receiver accepted our DCS signal and the corresponding TCF training signal. Now we move on to sending page image data...

Aug 12 13:46:27.51: [15434]: --> [10:NO CARRIER]

The logging isn't set high enough to see, but I would assume that between 13:45:56.43 and 13:46:27.51 HylaFAX was sending data to the modem, ultimately terminated by DLE+ETX, and then HylaFAX began to wait for an OK response... but instead it got a NO CARRIER response.

In the iaxmodem world this means very clearly that the call was disconnected somehow (within Asterisk or the receiver hung up or something of that nature).

Aug 12 13:46:27.51: [15434]: MODEM flush i/o
Aug 12 13:46:27.51: [15434]: SEND end page
Aug 12 13:46:27.51: [15434]: Unspecified Transmit Phase C error {E149}
Aug 12 13:46:27.51: [15434]: SEND: Unspecified Transmit Phase C error {E149}; Giving up after 3 attempts to send same page "docq/doc105.pdf;c0", dirnum 0
Aug 12 13:46:27.51: [15434]: <-- [9:AT+FRS=7\r]
Aug 12 13:46:27.51: [15434]: --> [5:ERROR]

This ERROR result is because the modem is already on-hook. iaxmodem goes on-hook when the call is disconnected.

So you'll need to investigate why the call is disconnecting. Probably the receiver is hanging up, and you'll want to figure out why.

Thanks,

Lee.
