Re: [hylafax-users] Modem Initialization Question

Hello Bodo,

The Cisco CDR SQL database contains a number of records. It is
currently configured to purge records older than 5 days because the
information is not needed. Typically there are between 3000 and 6000
records at any time.

The records are sorted in descending order by dateTimeConnect (this
gives last completed call since failed calls have dateTimeConnect = 0) -
and the top record is selected and then the original dialed number of
that call is returned by the query.

There are time-stamp fields included in the records, such as:
dateTimeConnect (mentioned above)
dateTimeDisconnect

Others may exist but I'd have to check the field names directly to be
sure. Not all fields are populated by our version of CallManager CDR.

The ugly part of the time fields is that they are "written in Universal
Coordinated Time (UTC), which is the number of seconds since January 1,
1970 GMT, or simply Epoch time."

Thanks for any assistance.

Greg

Hello Greg,

what exactly do you have in the SQL DB?
Only one call info record (from the last call) or more than one? Do you
have a time field?
