I copied that file from good machine to bad machine and restarted HF. No joy. The file contains:
localhost:21::
(there is no user ID on either system == 21)
What now?
you might try this: [drf@maplepark ~]$ sudo cat /var/spool/hylafax/etc/hosts.hfaxd localhost 127.0.0.1 [drf@maplepark ~]$
