[hylafax-users] Faxgetty doesn't answer.

Hello, first time user trying to setup Hylafax 4.4.4 with iaxmodem 1.2.0
It seems as though faxgetty isn't picking up the call. If I direct it to
pick up with "faxanswer ttyIAX0" then I get the fax tones played for me,
but otherwise it just keeps ringing.

Faxgetty is running:

    ps aux | grep faxgetty
    uucp 5289 0.0 0.1 6876 828 ? Ss May23 0:00
    faxgetty -D /dev/ttyIAX0

Faxstat says it's listening to rings from the modem.

    faxstat -r
    HylaFAX scheduler on pbx.zerobit.local: Running
Modem ttyIAX0 (): Listening to rings from modem

Here's what I get from /var/log/messages:

    tail -n 20 /var/log/messages | grep -i fax
    May 23 22:27:03 pbx FaxGetty[5251]: MODEM WWW.SOFT-SWITCH.ORG spandsp/
    May 23 22:28:22 pbx FaxGetty[5251]: CAUGHT SIGNAL 15
    May 23 22:28:22 pbx FaxGetty[5251]: CLOSE /dev/ttyIAX0
    May 23 22:28:22 pbx FaxGetty[5289]: OPEN /dev/ttyIAX0 HylaFAX (tm)
    Version 4.4.4
    May 23 22:28:39 pbx FaxGetty[5289]: MODEM WWW.SOFT-SWITCH.ORG spandsp/
    May 23 22:29:58 pbx FaxGetty[5289]: MODEM WWW.SOFT-SWITCH.ORG spandsp/
    May 24 17:35:23 pbx FaxGetty[5289]: MODEM WWW.SOFT-SWITCH.ORG spandsp/

And from the iaxmodem log file:

    tail -n 5 /var/log/iaxmodem/ttyIAX0
    [2010-05-23 21:24:06] IAX2 jitter - last_ts: 17020, ts: 17029
    [2010-05-23 21:24:07] IAX2 jitter - last_ts: 17669, ts: 17673

    [2010-05-23 21:24:14] IAX2 jitter - last_ts: 24787, ts: 24792

If I cat the /dev/ttyIAX0 file I see that RING is presented

    cat /dev/ttyIAX0

    OK

    RING

    RING

    RING

    RING
    ATZ
    OK

Recently (as in today) though I've been getting the congestion tone
after a random number (usually 3 or 4) of rings.

Here's my ttyIAX0.config:

    cat /var/spool/hylafax/etc/config.ttyIAX0 | grep -v '#'
    CountryCode: 1
    AreaCode: 555
    FAXNumber: +1.555.555.1212
    LongDistancePrefix: 1
    InternationalPrefix: 011
    DialStringRules: etc/dialrules

    RecvFileMode: 0600
    LogFileMode: 0600
    DeviceMode: 0600
    RingsBeforeAnswer: 2
    SpeakerVolume: off
    GettyArgs: "-h %l dx_%s"
    LocalIdentifier: "IAXmodem"
    TagLineFont: etc/lutRS18.pcf
    TagLineFormat: "From %%l|%c|Page %%P of %%T"

    CallIDPattern: "NMBR="
    CallIDPattern: "NAME="
    CallIDPattern: "ANID="
    CallIDPattern: "NDID="

And my iaxmodem config:

    cat /etc/iaxmodem/ttyIAX0
    device /dev/ttyIAX0
    owner uucp:uucp
    mode 660
    port 4569
    refresh 300
    server 127.0.0.1
    peername 4
    secret XXXX
    cidname Fax
    cidnumber 00000000000
    codec alaw

I've tried to be sure an include everything that might be pertinent w/o
writing a novel, but if there's something I'm missing please let me
know. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Zach
