[hylafax-users] sending a fax to yourself with T38Modem and OPAL

Hello, 

I'm trying to test my Hylafax->T38modem w/OPAL setup. I'm using an external FOIP provider. They gave me a phone number.

I can send and receive faxes on my computer. i can even send and recieve simultaneously (with two other fax machines). 

The problem is that I want to test high volume. I figured that the easy way to do this was to call myself. The FOIP provider allows multiple calls on the same number, so that's not a problem. However, when I tried it, I didn't get a  connection. The receiving tty picked up the phone and tried to connect, but nothing. I'm not sure if even SIP got hooked up... 

It kind of looks like the sending and receiving threads are trying to use the same port, but I can't imagine why that would be... (yes, it's consistent.)

any thoughts?

I'll cross post this to the OPAL list if no one here has an idea.
