Re: [hylafax-users] install hylafax+ 5.4.1 on Ubuntu 9.10

Hi Lee;

After it displayed the following message, the FATAL ERROR message comes immediately.

        Created for i686-pc-linux-gnu on ....

        Found encoder: /usr/bin/base64
        Looks like /usr/bin/base64 supports base64 encoding.
        Checking system for proper client configuration.
        Checking system for proper server configuration.

I used "nano" to open the "faxetup" script file and found that it was checking this....

dirMisConfigured()
{
   cat >&2 <<EOF

   FATAL ERROR: $1 does not exist or is not a directory!

The directory $1 doe snot exist or this file is not a directory..........
........

EOF
      boom
}

I am using Ubuntu 9.10 32-bit distribution on a Dell computer. Would it be some conflict with the Hylafax+ 5.4.1 that I downloaded?

In what context do these error messages appear?

Thanks,

Lee.
