With HylaFAX+ 5.4.1 you'd pipe faxmail to sendfax and then specify the 
modem to sendfax.

faxmail -N -T

(Again, this is with HylaFAX+ 5.4.1.)

Pipe faxmail to sendfax and then specify -D to sendfax.
