If you are saying that you dont want to send multiple faxes in one call,
you can disable this behavior.

In Hylafax+ it is:

disable for one number:
  in $SPOOL/hylafax/info, in the file with the fax number you are
sending to, find the line that says SupportsBatching. change it to "no"
and put a "&" at the beginning of the line so that it doesnt get changed
automatically.

disable entirely:
  in $SPOOL/hylafax/etc/config
     MaxBatchJobs = 1
