Hello, to specify IP adress to listen, simply add "-l xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx" option to hfaxd program in startup script. (see hfaxd manpage http://hylafax.sourceforge.net/man/hfaxd.php) Easiest way is to edit startup script of hylafax, so that starting of hfaxd looks smth like this ( in "start" function) daemon hfaxd -l 192.168.75.24 -i hylafax If you need hylafax to listen on more than one IP addres, you'll have to start more hfaxd processes - one proces for each IP addr. Hope this helps Tomas ------------ Původní zpráva ------------ Od: Marshall Henderson <marshallmch@xxxxxxxxx> Předmět: [hylafax-users] Disable TCP/4559 listening on all interfaces?!? Datum: 17.1.2009 00:43:34 ---------------------------------------- Sorry if you recieved this twice... I've sent this to the hylafax-users list @sourceforge as well... Hi everyone- I see that Hylafax is listening on all interfaces on TCP/4559. I'd prefer that it didn't do that. However, I'm not seeing anywhere in the configs, man pages, or manuals that specify how to either disable TCP listening totally or to specify the listening interface. Help! I don't want that port listening on all interfaces! ++MARSHALL++ ____________________ HylaFAX(tm) Users Mailing List _______________________ To subscribe/unsubscribe, click http://lists.hylafax.org/cgi-bin/lsg2.cgi On UNIX: mail -s unsubscribe hylafax-users-request@xxxxxxxxxxx < /dev/null *To learn about commercial HylaFAX(tm) support, mail sales@xxxxxxxxx*
