Hi,After more testing I found something else odd. I sent the above test file many times in fine resolution mode. Sometimes I enabled ECM, and sometimes I disabled it. With ECM enabled everything worked OK on every try. With ECM disabled, on most occasions the resulting file was a perfect match for the original file. However, on two occasions every page arrived with the last row missing. Apart from that row, the source and destination images matched. The actual call path is
I have a TIFF file containing some A4 FAX test pages in fine resolution, and I have a HylaFAX installation with the tag line turned off. If I send the file with
sendfax -n -m -d 9001 itutests.tif
the result is, as I expect, bit for bit what I send. If I leave out the "-m" I expect to receive the original file translated to standard resolution, and receive half as many rows. However, the resulting pages actually have about 1cm cropped from the top.
