First a word of warning: 
I have not tested most of the following suggestions.

For HylaFAX you usually don't need to convert pdf files to Postscript, else
you can use pdftops.

Don't know about these formats.

> Jpeg .jpg
> Tiff .tif
> Paintbrush .pcx
> Bitmap .bmp

For these formats you can use "convert" from ImageMagick or GraphicsMagick.

> HTML .htm

There are scripts like "html2ps" with probably mixed results. Maybe there is
also a way to use a Linux browser like Firefox or Konqueror for batch
printing. Alternatively you can also use OpenOffice.
