Is there any way to retain in resulting file information about received fax?
Or more elegant way to split incoming fax on pages?

If using Class 1 you can configure in your modem config file to not permit unlimited length pages. This will get you supporting only A4 page length on reception:

Class1PageLengthSupport: 0

I don't want to reject such faxes.
I want to split it on A4 pages.

It doesn't *reject* those pages, but it requires the sender to keep them limited to A4 length.
Is it possible to configure Class2 modem such way?

Yes, but it requires use of the Class2DCCQueryCmd parameter in a way like this:

Class2DCCQueryCmd: "!0,5,0,0,0,0,0,0"

Although that particular configuration may not be appropriate for your modem.

Thanks,

Lee.
