[hylafax-users] "black" faxes in Tiff format that are fine in PDF format

Both these bugs seem to be my problem and are labeled as fixed, yet I have different versions of libtiff and hylafax, and it still appears to be a problem years later.  Anyone have a current fix for this issue? 

The problem appears to be when using 1-D MH.  I've tried turning off error correcting with maxbadlines etc....does not help.
