Wasn't there a device long ago that one could plug into the phone line
and it had 2 "outlets".  The device would "detect" an incoming fax call
and route it to the fax line.  I think it was sort of like a Y splitter.
I don't think they worked very well, but it's worth a try if you could
find one.
