[hylafax-users] setup olitec self memory 2000 modem (maybe init string problem?)

Hello everybody,

I get some trouble to setup my Olitec self
Memory 2000 modem. I simply want to receive fax at the first time, then
maybe later send it. I have already try to use default configuration,
then I try so much things. I try to change the init string from the
config.ttyS0 (this line : ModemResetCmds ) to
AT&F&C1&D2W2S6=5S7=60S10=15

I get this line from this website : http://www.gigonet.com/ModemStrings.php but it doesn't work. I setup my modem to answer after the first ring,
but it ring 6 or 7 times then I get the answer from my modem : this is
not hylafax that is answering.

I try to change the config.ttyS0 with this parameter too : http://www.olitec.com/hylafax_speedcomv92.php

but here again, it doesn't work.

What
should I do to receive fax please ? I have not a lot of help with the
log file because the modem don't answer. I don't know how to solve or
to diagnostic my problem. I think it come from the config.ttyS0 file,
but i'm not 100% sure.

hylafax recognize the modem because when
I restart hylafax (/etc/init.d/hylafax restart), my modem made two
bips. I run hylafax 2:4.4.3-1 under ubuntu, and i'm in france (I don't know if it
change something with the configuration).
