[hylafax-users] Kill Time Expired on Sending

Hi,

I've searched on web but I found no useful hints.
Sometimes sending faxes after a while I found the with the status 
"kill time expired".
Investigating on the thing I discovered that sometimes Hylafax 
remains in status "Waiting for the modem to become ready". During 
this period all faxes enqueued are not sent and after a while they fails.
If I restart Hylafax services all things goes ok, the modem is 
correctly read and the faxes starts to be sent.
My problem now is to understand why sometimes the connection between 
Hylafax and the modem breaks and how I can solve it, I can't restart 
services everytime and in this state the system is not reliable. Some hint.

Hylafax version is 4.3.1, I would like to avoid updating if there are 
no issues specific to this problem
