Re: [hylafax-users] TPC.INT

I vote that we remove references to tpc.int for the following reasons-
1. The website is full of 404 page not found errors.
Which links are dead? I'm not seeing them. Perhaps it was temporary.
2. I am not aware that international calling rates have been a prohibitive
expense to anyone over the last few years, rendering such a service obsolete.
I'm not sure that the purpose of TPC.INT was to avoid international
calling rates. So I'm not sure that this argument is relevant.
3. Is anyone actually running a TPC node?
This is certainly a good question. A few years ago I did, but due to
reasons of network abuse the sponsor told me to abandon it. The
good-will it was intended to generate for the community had actually
backfired.
Anybody want to speak up as to the vitality of the TPC.INT network? Is
its solicitation actually doing readers a disservice?
Thanks,
Lee.
