[hylafax-users] Trying to get ACM modem to talk to Brother faxmachine

Hi,

I'm trying to get my Conexant modem to talk to a specific fax machine (a 
 Brother one).

Environment:
- server: Linux a 2.6.24-19-server #1 SMP x86_64 GNU/Linux
- hylafax: Ubuntu hylafax-server package 2:4.4.3-1
- modem: ID 0572:1328 Conexant Systems (Rockwell), Inc.
- driver: /build/buildd/linux-2.6.24/drivers/usb/class/cdc-acm.c:
          v0.25:USB Abstract Control Model driver for USB modems
          and ISDN adapters

Am receiving faxes, but one client of ours can't get through. I'm seeing 
the same as was mentioned in 
<http://www.hylafax.org/archive/2002-09/msg00419.php>: a silence period 
and a Brother fax at the other end.

As Class1TCFRecvHack seems to be deprecated, I tried

Class1TCFRecvHackCmd:   AT+FRS=1

in the config file - no luck. Is there something I can do to get these 
faxes talking again?
