Re: [hylafax-users] Strange SambaFax Issue

Hmmmm, having looked on the mail lists quite a lot over the weekend I
found lots of references to this and tried different drivers and
postscript settings all to no avail, when I fall back to my old server,
which I have at the moment, the process then works fine without
issue.......all I can think is it's the Linux server which is causing
the problem. As for differences they are as follows: -

Old Box
RH 9 (never updated, literally installed from the CD's and left)
Samba 2.28
Lprng installed @ build time from RH Cd's

New Box
Centos 4.4
Samba 3.x
Lprng downloaded from website and compiled on the box as Centos is
driven from Cups and I had to remove this and switch spoolers.

Some postscript printer drivers will do this. Try a different one or try

to see if the printer driver has an "option" for "compatibility mode" or

perhaps even "EPS mode".

Thanks,

Lee.
