Re: [hylafax-users] patton 2977 configuration

sorry, I made a mistake. I would like to clarify:

1. the modem is able to receive fax from fax machine
2. the modem is unable to receive fax if the sending fax machine does not give CNG tone during the initial few secs. eg. the fax machine requires user to hit a START button to give cng tone. this type of call fails.

I think this is related to class 2.0 (if configured as class 1, no such problem but fails to train with most fax machines). Any thing we could do to fix it?

Are your faxgetty's running? My notes on inittab entry for these and
the config files is included in my previous email.
