Hello,
I have been trying to get the T38modem to work with my gateway.
It appears that this is not going to work for me. It has been two weeks and still no faxing.
What I am looking to accomplish is
1. To be able to received faxes by email - the gateway can do T38 relay/pass through
2. To be able to send faxes by email and be received by a standard fax machine.
Any comments/suggestions. It would be greatly appreciated as I am out of ideas.
Thanks

Maybe you have some sort of firewall between you and the gateway?
If you try
$ telnet x.x.x.x 1720
do you get something back?
