Yes I think so:
/etc/inittab
# faxgetty automatisch starten [HylaFAX]
fa:23:respawn:/usr/local/sbin/faxgetty /dev/modem

or better I thought ... :(
But:
[root@nss ~]# ps auxw | grep faxgetty
root      5416  0.0  0.2   3904   720 pts/3    R+   22:06   0:00 grep
faxgetty

Why isn't faxgetty running?

If I reload /etc/inittab with
[root@nss ~]# init q

syslog reports:
Nov 26 22:07:01 nss init: Re-reading inittab

I don't know why faxgetty won't run?

Faxgetty is here:
[root@nss ~]# whereis faxgetty
faxgetty: /usr/local/sbin/faxgetty
[root@nss ~]# ll /usr/local/sbin/faxgetty
-rwxr-xr-x 1 root root 50040 24. Nov 22:24 /usr/local/sbin/faxgetty

So what now? Any idea?
