[hylafax-users] hylafax-4.4.3 won't use /dev/modem

HI,

I try to setup hylafax 4.4.3 on my CenTOS 5 system.

With minicom I can anwer incomming calls and I can initiate outgoing
call also. So my modem an my phoneline is O.K..

But:

I 've installed hylafax like the old one on my SuSE 9.3 system

When I start hylafax via

service hylafax start
HylaFAX: faxq hfaxd (without old protocol & without SNPP support).

syslog reports:

faxstat reports:

faxstat
HylaFAX scheduler on nss.mydomain.org: Running
Modem modem (+49 nnnn nnnnnn): Running and idle

But If I try to receive a fax, nothing happens. The LED on my modem
flashes very short, but there's no further reaction. No entry in syslog
or elsewhere.

Any idea?
