[hylafax-users] No response to PPS repeat wth Conexant HSF softmodem

Hi,

I'm running Linux Ubuntu 6.06 (Kernel 2.6.15-26-server), using hylafax 
5.1.8-1 i386 and I'm having problems to send faxes. In fact, when using 
"virtual faxes" (no physical machine but a phone number to perform 
sending) it works fine, as well as "phonefax" (phone and fax with the 
same number). But when using a "normal" facsimile machine, results are 
unstable. Generally, the 3rd try performs well, but the preceding 
doesn't deliver the fax well and I'm getting a "No response to PPS 
repeat" error.

Any idea or advice will be welcome :) Thx.
