Hi, I am using HylaFax 4.2.3 on a "U.S. Robotics 56K FAX EXT Rev. 11.16.63/Configuration Profile..." modem. I have a problem receiving faxes on this combination. I keep getting the error "Failure to raise V.21 transmission carrier." A sample session is given below: Oct 12 1G5:40:03.82: [ 2711]: RECV received frame number 87 Oct 12 15:40:03.96: [ 2711]: RECV received frame number 88 Oct 12 15:40:04.10: [ 2711]: RECV received frame number 89 Oct 12 15:40:04.24: [ 2711]: RECV received frame number 90 Oct 12 15:40:04.24: [ 2711]: RECV received RCP frame Oct 12 15:40:04.29: [ 2711]: --> [10:NO CARRIER] Oct 12 15:40:04.29: [ 2711]: <-- [9:AT+FRH=3\r] Oct 12 15:40:04.66: [ 2711]: --> [7:CONNECT] Oct 12 15:40:05.67: [ 2711]: --> [2:OK] Oct 12 15:40:05.67: [ 2711]: RECV recv PPS (partial page signal) Oct 12 15:40:05.67: [ 2711]: RECV recv MPS (more pages, same document) Oct 12 15:40:05.67: [ 2711]: RECV received 91 frames of block 1 of page 2 Oct 12 15:40:05.78: [ 2711]: RECV: 23156 bytes of data, 1104 total lines Oct 12 15:40:05.78: [ 2711]: <-- [9:AT+FRS=7\r] Oct 12 15:40:05.88: [ 2711]: --> [2:OK] Oct 12 15:40:05.89: [ 2711]: <-- [9:AT+FTH=3\r] Oct 12 15:40:35.88: [ 2711]: MODEM <Timeout> Oct 12 15:40:35.88: [ 2711]: RECV FAX: Failure to raise V.21 transmission carrier.
