The patch basically adds a condition to the two while loops that were involved in the infinite-looping that you were experiencing. The condition is that if the looping exceeds conf.t1Timer (the configuration parameter FaxT1Timer, defaults to 30 seconds) that it will stop looping.


And 'conf.t1Timer' is equal to "Class1RecvIdentTimer" parameter, right?



No. conf.t1Timer is FaxT1Timer.


I'm totally sure that the patch is applied but the modem still goes on
waiting for carrier.
