Re: [hylafax-users] Multiple "MODEM No carrier"
Hi Antonio,
Modems have no sense of 'line polarity'... it's a requirement of the
telecoms testing and approvals that they work 'either way around'.
What happens if you run your tests in Minicom ?

Subject: Re: [hylafax-users] Multiple "MODEM No carrier"
Hi all.
I've made a call to the modem. The modem answers but it seems that the
modem doesn't detect the hangup. The modem stays waiting for carrier.
I've changed the modem class from 1 to 2.1, and the modem works well.
What's going on? Maybe line polarity issues?
Thanks in advance.
