Hi Antonio, Modems have no sense of 'line polarity'... it's a requirement of the telecoms testing and approvals that they work 'either way around'. What happens if you run your tests in Minicom ? I've made a call to the modem. The modem answers but it seems that the modem doesn't detect the hangup. The modem stays waiting for carrier. I've changed the modem class from 1 to 2.1, and the modem works well. What's going on? Maybe line polarity issues? Thanks in advance. ____________________ HylaFAX(tm) Users Mailing List _______________________ To subscribe/unsubscribe, click http://lists.hylafax.org/cgi-bin/lsg2.cgi On UNIX: mail -s unsubscribe hylafax-users-request@xxxxxxxxxxx < /dev/null *To learn about commercial HylaFAX(tm) support, mail sales@xxxxxxxxx* ____________________ HylaFAX(tm) Users Mailing List _______________________ To subscribe/unsubscribe, click http://lists.hylafax.org/cgi-bin/lsg2.cgi On UNIX: mail -s unsubscribe hylafax-users-request@xxxxxxxxxxx < /dev/null *To learn about commercial HylaFAX(tm) support, mail sales@xxxxxxxxx*
