So for a USR modem...

 ModemClassQueryCmd: "!1"
 ModemMfrQueryCmd: "!USR"
 ModemModelQueryCmd: "!AllModelsAreBroken"
 ModemRevQueryCmd: "!AllFirmwaresAreBroken"
 Class1RMQueryCmd: "!24,48,72,73,74,96,97,98,121,122,145,146"
 Class1TMQueryCmd: "!24,48,72,73,74,96,97,98,121,122,145,146"


And then you'll also want to evaluate if you can reduce (and you 
probably can) these two values, ModemResetDelay and 
ModemSoftResetCmdDelay.  The defaults add up to nearly 6 seconds.  If 
you can get away with "0" for these, then that may work.  You'll know 
after you try.
