Subject: Re: [hylafax-users] Hylafax cannot receive faxes
The sending modem adds two FCS bytes to every HDLC frame that is sent. The receiver is supposed to send them to HylaFAX. The receiving modem is not sending the two FCS bytes to HylaFAX, and so that's the problem.
In your receiving modem config file please put:
Class1FrameOverhead: 2
And please help us make things better by sending me the output of probemodem when run against that modem.
Thanks,
Lee.
