I get no error messages at all, immediately after hit the enter key, there comes these 2 messages, thats it: Try to connect to fax number 06214185957 in TIFF mode. Dial and starting transfer of TIFF-File fritz_pic.tif with fine resolution.
I tried different destinations , one real fax and other web.de fax number, which runs in different tests. i also tried the revieved files, but there were also in tiff format.
for me i think the biggest problem is, that there is no error message at all... no ringing at the destination. no waiting for some dial up or so...
to answer from Holger: >-c OutgoingMSN:${outgoingmsn} > >set the -c Parameter also in the string, that will work fine.
thx Marius

That's why I have "Use2D: no" in my config. As you called c2faxsend directly this HylaFAX configuration is not (yet) related to your problem. > > To avoid TIFF format problems I suggest you try to send a document you have received with c2faxrecv. > > My experience shows that capi4hylafax seems to have problems with certain fax receivers, especially computer fax systems. > > > Bodo > > -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- > Version: GnuPG v1.4.6 (GNU/Linux) > > iD8DBQFGd7QcnMz9fgzDSqcRAlPEAJ4nNV3fiSpvEBYPiLmPdCGZlWkw4ACeNNS5 > lfcoODpPMv1m/W9ljKWWS5g= > =wfVO > -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- > > ____________________ HylaFAX(tm) Users Mailing List _______________________ > To subscribe/unsubscribe, click http://lists.hylafax.org/cgi-bin/lsg2.cgi > On UNIX: mail -s unsubscribe hylafax-users-request@xxxxxxxxxxx < /dev/null > *To learn about commercial HylaFAX(tm) support, mail sales@xxxxxxxxx* > >
