Re: [hylafax-users] hylafax and linuxant usb modem

Hi Yohan,

If you can tell us the number of pages you typically send and the type of material (text, graphics, monochrome, colour, etc) then we will be able to tell you how many lines you require.  It would also help to know the countries you are sending to because this will has a bearing on the number of recipients who will support V.34 and/or JBIG.

Personally, I’d never use a USB or Win/Lin modem for a high volume application unless you don’t care about reliability or compatibility.

Subject: [hylafax-users] hylafax and linuxant usb modem

hi..
anyone here has experience using many usb modems with linuxant driver for sending mass faxes via hylafax ? (about 1000 faxes/ day)

or does somebody know how many usb modems could be connected to a pc ?

or If have to use multi port modem (which is so expensive), how many port would be sufficient for sending about 1000 faxes/day
(I'm not receiving at all, just sending)

thanks a lot
any help would be really appreciated
