Lee Thanks for the advice. I have tried your suggestion of upgrading ghostscript and it worked! I used the espgs-8.15.2 version as it came with an fc4 rpm spec file. Thanks again and thanks to all those who have contributed to making Hylafax such a great package. Ghostscript can use substitute fonts.
