Hi Javier,

 

Please check your modem config file for the setting of “RingsBeforeAnswer”... This should be greater than ‘0’.  See the hylafax-config man page for more information.

 

I’d also suggest that you upgrade to the latest version of HylaFAX or HylaFAX+ and replace the USR modem if fax reliability is important to you.

Hi everyone!!!

 

I’m quite new to hylafax . We have been asked to crete a fax server for sending and receiving faxes. We are using VMWare + Suse 9.

Now we are able to send any messages. The problem comes when trying to receive faxes. The modem  does NOTHING when receiving an incoming call.

Our modem is an external US ROBOTICS Sportster Voice 33.6 FaxModem.

Any ideas there outside???
