Re: [hylafax-users] Getting some COMREC invalid response received messages
I'm using US Robotics external serial modem. Hylafax sees it as "MODEM
U.S. ROBOTICS V90/U.S. Robotics 56K FAX EXT V1.915M"
It's model number is 5631 and part number USR815631. Telco environment
is just the modem hooked to a regular phone line.
Below is the list of ATi0 to ATi11 commands on the modem via minicom.
Thanks for helping.

Hi George,
Can you tell us what modem you are using (manufacturer and model), it's
firmware revision (Minicom Commands ATi0 to ATI11 are most useful), and your
Telco environment (Analog, T1, VoIP, etc.).
This will help enormously to understand the issue.

Subject: [hylafax-users] Getting some COMREC invalid response received
messages
Hi, using Hylafax 5.1.2.
I been using it non-stop for a week now and out of aprox 120 I got 3
incoming fax calls that resulted in "COMREC invalid response received"
message.
I've checked the actual tiff files that were saved and dispatched. It
seems that when the COMREC error occurs only 1 page got received, then
they call back again and I get the rest of the fax document.
I'm not sure what this COMREC message means. Is it because the sender
accidentally hanged up the phone? or pressed the stop button or
something? Just want to make sure the problems are not from my side.
Below is the log.
